I am a 24 year old wife, married to my college sweet heart, who stays at home with our cute and lively chocolate lab while trying to establish myself in the teaching world. My husband and I went to Louisiana State University (geaux tigers!!) and graduated in 2008, got married on August 16, 2008 in Baton Rouge, moved to Houston where he started working for CP, bought our first home in July of 2009 in Katy (TX), got our first puppy in August of 2009, and now we are just enjoying the wonderful life we have been blessed with.
I would like to try to sort this blog a little better and be a bit more focused on just a few subjects: Izzie (our dog), fitness (I have a love/hate relationship with running), good food (I love cooking and baking), my teaching journey, traveling, and all things Louisiana.
